Han Gets Baptized
So Sunday night your girl Han got baptized!!! I"ll share my testimony at the end of the post, but enjoy all the pics! Thanks everyone for coming out!!! It made me so happy to look out and see so many of my best friends. :')
(With God as my witness I'll wear lipstick even if I can't wear makeup)

What party would it be without donuts?
P.S. My dress is from J.Crew and it's on sale now!
Best friends since I was 6
"I always thought I had a boring
testimony. Grew up in church... had Christian parents for as long as I can
remember… got saved at a fairly young age. So typical, so boring. I always secretly
wished that I had had some riveting story of being a criminal in the past and
having this incredible salvation story that would have everyone captivated at a
Bible study. But clearly that wasn’t God’s plan for me. He blessed me with
parents who taught me the Bible day in and day out. They told me about my sin
and need for a savior, and in my early teens I made their faith my own and fell
in love with Christ and what He had done for me. But as I looked over this
question and a million thoughts ran through my head, one struck me by surprise.
I was *just* as lost as the criminal who turned from their wicked ways. I was
*just* as lost as a tribal man in South Africa. I was *just* as lost as a Hindu
in India and a Muslim in Turkey. I needed a savior no less than anyone else,
and it is just as amazing that God would choose to save a wicked, dark person
like me. Though I don’t remember the specific date or time I was saved, I don’t
really need to. Having a great story isn’t what saved me. Plus, I do have a
great story… God left the heavens, bore my shame, suffered and died to save me!
How much more incredible can it get!?!?! I still fail Him all the time, but as
I get older I grow closer and closer to Him. I want to serve Him with my life
and gifts, and give Him my everything… Just as He gave me His everything."

Easter Sunday
Good afternoon guys! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend/Easter, ate a lot of candy, and took time to reflect on the glory of our Savior. I spent Easter weekend with one of my best friends Amaris! (you may recognize her from here) We hung out at the house Friday and then Saturday we shopped till we dropped in Richmond and around town. Sunday morning we got ready for Easter together before she went home to celebrate with her fam. Good times, good times. I'll do a post tomorrow about our adventures from the weekend, but today I wanted to share some Easter morning photos!
#squad
So this is the dress that I wore to Easter and I obviously made it and it obviously has a bow on the back. Would I even be Hannah Everly without those two things?!?! Well yes. But not a very good one.
My shoes are from goodwill and my earrings I got fro Easter! ( I think my mom got them at New York & Co)
Peace and luv to you all. Talk tomorrow? Great.
P.S. I'M SHOOTING THE SPRING LINE TONIGHT SO PRAY FOR ME BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GOTTEN MUCH SLEEP OVER THE LAST FEW DAYS BECAUSE I'VE BEEN WORKING SO HARD ON IT. But I'm SO excited!

Here We Go Again
Good afternoon! So I'm so sorry but I accidentally shut my laptop last night while my vlog was uploading and "cancelled" the upload. I'm re uploading it now so it should be up maybe tonight and definitely by tomorrow!
So I wasn't kidding when I said I'll be wearing spring skirts with black tights to pass the time. It really works because it feeds my need to wear springy/colorful stuff, but also my greater need to not be freezing. Win-win.
Also... I swear I forget every week that I teach Sunday school to the little kids (I've been doing it for a month, whoops), and every week I unfortunately wear a fitted pencil skirt. At least I was on time this week. (purely by luck, but they don't need to know that)
Oh yes that blurry hand though. Where can I sign up to go profesh?!?!? ;)
(I don't know what happened with the grain in the far away shots. It's like it just gave up on me.)

Spring Florals
So today I get to introduce you to my all time favorite skirt that I haven't made!!!! (Coming from a girl who has over 60 skirts... it's a big deal) I've had this beauty for about 3 years and I only paid $10 for it. It's floral AND scalloped and basically represents all things spring to me. Some people worry about getting that perfect bathing suit bod... but I just want to fit into this skirt for as many years as I can. It keeps me from only eating 3 donuts instead of 4. A difficult sacrifice, but worth it.
Plus it completely covers my knees which is SO hard to find in a pencil skirt.
Skirt: eShakti; Shirt: TJmaxx; Shoes: thrift store ($3!); Necklace: some sketchy lady in China

Spring In the Studio
Hey guys! Sorry that I went all M.I.A. last week!!! I've been gearing up for my "Hannah Everly Spring 2015"launch, which means 1. Making lists, 2. Not ordering enough fabric, 3. Lining up models, 4. Matching up skirts with everyone's hair colors, 4. Getting super busy.
But no worries... I have no intention to stop blogging. (aka it will be unintentional when I don't post for a few days).
Also I think spring is by far my favorite season to dress for, which means planning my spring line photo shoot is making me feel like a kid in a candy store. Goodness I can't wait to show you it!!!
Here are some skirts from my past two spring lines!!! It's distracting to get work done in there with so many cute skirts staring at me ;). (Well you know... if they had eyes)
I can't remember if I introduced "Imogen" to you... but she's a real life saver. As an extrovert I get lonely spending all day in the studio, but she keeps me company these days. Here she is modeling a dress I made this weekend for my bestest friend Caitie!
Are you in love with the back? (Cause I'm in love with the back)
I call this my $1 outfit because my mom got me this genuine leather metallic trench for $1, and I got this black pencil with the sweet trim for $1. Consignment stores are my heaven on earth.
