So apparently "purpley" is not a word, which is embarrassing and disappointing when you consider how many times you've used it. But this is my blog so we can use it if we want to.
Saturday I was apparently feeling very purpley from my eyelids, to my lips, to my neck, to my coat. Also I got hit on for the first time ever in this outfit, but they complimented me on the color of my coat and my beautiful scarf... so it's all good.
(the old guy who wears bowties and owns my favorite antique book store told me he liked my "wingtip oxfords" , which is such an accomplishment.)
Coat: Tulle (gift); Shirt: J.Crew; Shoes: vintage; Scarf: Mermaid Books; Jeans: Rue21; Purse: some sketchy lady in China.
Also... I'm thinking about decorating the studio with these come springtime. Thoughts?
You can't go wrong with mason jars.
ReplyDeleteespecially with flowers.
DeleteThey sell scarves at mermaid books??
ReplyDeleteYES! In a little basket near the front!
DeleteWell I've gotta make a trip over there soon then... :)

Thanks! I got it for Christmas last year and hardly ever wear it! I think that needs to change....
DeleteI love how you assume how everyone has used the word "purplely" in your post. ;)
ReplyDeleteAnd, as always, you're fabulous.
We all know you have too. ;)
DeleteAnd thanks dear. The drunk guys who stopped me on the street thought so too. :')
Purpley is too a word! I use it all the time. And Cantankerous. And Discombobulated. And Ginormous. So Purpley is definitely a word! :P
ReplyDeleteAnd an old guy complimented your outfit? WIN.
And you can't forget "fantabulous"!
DeleteOld people complimenting me is usually my goal. ;)
