Growing Up

You probably thought this was going to be some great "coming of age" sort of blog post, but it's not. I just wanted to inform everyone that after 17 years of avoiding it... I finally got a phone. The people in the Apple Store thought it was the funniest thing ever and had a field day.

Now I know what you're thinking... "Wow those are the cutest 4 inch open toe suede and leather wedges ever." and maybe also "I'm sorry but she has officially lost her mind. It's February." I just want to say that it was *almost* 60 degrees yesterday which made me open all the windows and yes, wear these shoes. The lady in Kate Spade had the same wedges on and we gave each other a nod of approval (empathy?).

Shirt: Loft; Jeans: Rue21; Wedges: J.Crew; Jacket: Guess; Purse: some sketch lady in China

Although I would have loved to drop a few hundred on this jacket... I did the responsible thing and got the phone instead. One point for Han.

  1. Congratulations on taking "the plunge!" Enjoy that phone!
I'm with ya, girl. As soon as it hits 60, I want to fling open all the window and tell the world, "Spring is here!" :D And then, inevitably, the next day will be in the 40s. :/
I so want a lacy shirt like that. So pretty. I'll have to go with a color other than that cheery yellow, though. My reddish hair wouldn't let me get away with it.

  2. Your wedges are amazing! I can see why you wanted to wear them in February ;)

Wow, a Smartphone. I got my flip phone (handed down from my older sister) at 17 . . . I would like to get a Smartphone BUT that probably won't happen till I'm old or something. Haha :)

    1. Well I tried to get my mom to revive her old hot pink flip phone for me... but she refused. I tried though. :'(
      Thank you!

  3. wearing open-toed shoes in February is something I do. It drives my mom crazy and my only excuse is "they're cute!"

ahh, yes, the struggle of growing up. My older brother and I decided we're done with growing up and becoming adults, and we're currently attempting to find Never-land.
I finally broke down and learned to text on my flip-phone. My sister-in-law keeps laughing at me for my lack of texting abilities. :)
